Policies for Our Massage Therapy & Acupuncture in Chicago, IL

Here you can learn more about Chicago Touch's policies regarding our massage therapy, reiki healing, craniosacral therapy, and acupuncture in Chicago, IL.

Reservation: We suggest booking at least 24-hours ahead, although we can usually accommodate same day appointments. Walk-ins are subject to availability. We require credit card information to hold the appointment for our non-package clients.

First Timer: We suggest arriving 15-minutes prior to your appointment to fill out intake forms, enjoy refreshments and allowing sufficient time to use the bathroom and to speak to your therapist about your concerns and requests. If you are running late for your appointment, please let the front desk know.

Returning Clients: We suggest 10-minutes prior to your appointment to enjoy refreshments and allowing sufficient time to use the bathroom and to speak to your therapist about your concerns and request. If you are running late for your appointment, please call the front desk at (312) 929-3083.

Clients below 16 years old: Clients below 16 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian inside the room during the session unless otherwise authorized by a parent or guardian.

Cancellation: Please provide 24-hours ahead notice to cancel appointments. Cancellations less than 24-hours prior to an appointment will be fully charged for the appointment. If you are scheduled for two or more services, we require 48-hours’ notice for cancellation. A cancellation for a same-day appointment requires a 30-minute notice after initially booking the appointment.

Appointment Adjustments: If you need to make adjustments to the time or type of appointment on the same day, a fee may be incurred due to the limited availability of the appropriate therapist.

Tipping: Gratuities, while not required, are gratefully appreciated. For your convenience envelopes will be provided at the front desk or you can give the gratuity directly to your therapist. Gratuities can be made in the form of cash, check, or credit card.

Personal Belongings: Baskets are provided in each room for you to place your personal belongings so that they are with you at all times. However, we are not responsible for any damage or loss of your personal belongings.

Parking: Street parking is available throughout our neighborhood; please make sure you set aside ample travel time for any traffic or parking issues that may arise.

Note: While in the waiting room, please speak softly and kindly turn off your cell phone. We have music playing to help reduce noise and maintain a peaceful and quiet environment.
